Sometimes I get the opportunity to sell homes that I have spent a lot of time in and created really fun and meaningful memories inside. This is one of those homes for me. The sellers are good friends of ours and loved to host company and throw parties. We spent so many nights playing games, eating great food and really putting the main living area to fantastic use. At one point, my friend even had a birthday dance party in the living room. She lined the walls with metallic streamers and we partied like nobody’s business. Scroll to the bottom of the post to see the proof. 🙂 As for the house… it’s a good one.
Here’s why…
+ the proof as promised.
A Note From the Sellers
“What We’ll Miss Most About Our Home…
Selling our home is very bittersweet. We truly loved living here.
We hope you are able to feel the magic that we did as we spent our time in this safe and happy place.
Here’s what we’ll miss most about living here and what you will likely love about it as well.
1.) Tons of natural light. This was a major driving factor behind why we purchased this home in the first place. The lights pours in through the extra large windows in this home. It makes the home feel ethereal and bright.
2.) We loved that the kitchen was tucked away in the main living area but that it still has an open-concept flow to it. We liked being able to answer the door and have guests without panicking about dirty dishes.
3.) The bonus room off of the kitchen was used as a music room. Most evenings while dinner was being made, our kids would sit and play the piano. They could be closeby without being in my space.
4.) Extra wide stairs and hallways. I didn’t realize how much I loved this until I started going into spaces that had standard sized hallways. It feels so much roomier and is also significantly easier to get furniture in and out.
5.) We had the loft converted into an office so we no longer had to use our bedroom as a workspace. It was easier to be productive, helped with the flow of our primary bedroom and it has a huge east facing window which made the space feel sunny and welcoming.
6.) Awesome neighborhood: You will make friends here. There are so many things to love about this community. Things like the parks and splash pad, but mostly the countless friendly faces. We will definitely miss all of the friends we’ve made here and the amenities we grew accustomed to having.
7.) Side yard: Initially we were unsure about this unconventional layout, however it didn’t take long for us to love the concept of a yard on the side, rather than in the back. It made it easy for us to watch and hear our kids as they went out to play. It also made the attached garage layout possible which we very much appreciated not having to haul our groceries in through the snow. Several homes close by have the traditional backyard/detached garage setup and we found this to be far preferable.
8.) Close to EVERYTHING. Being so close to the I-15 onramp and nestled right in between Salt Lake and Utah county, there isn’t anywhere that we couldn’t be in a flash. Regardless if we needed to be in the heart of the city or closer to Provo, we could be there in about 25 minutes.
We hope you see how special this home is. It has been really good to us.
We shared a lot of wonderful memories here that we will take with us in our new adventure. Best of luck to you in this unique housing market!”
